NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform and DP World Launched ‘We Rise’ Initiative to Empower Women-Led MSMEs.

In October 2025, NITI (National Institution for Transforming India) Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP), in collaboration with United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based DP World, launched the joint initiative ‘We Rise – Women Entrepreneurs Reimagining Inclusive and Sustainable Enterprises’ under WEP’s Award to Reward (ATR) programme to promote global growth of women-led MSMEs.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • - The ‘We Rise’ initiative aims to empower women-led Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across India by providing them with international trade opportunities, mentorship, and strategic partnerships to scale globally.
  • - The programme will identify and mentor high-potential women entrepreneurs, equipping them with the necessary business acumen and exposure to grow their enterprises beyond domestic markets.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) DP World will use its global logistics network to support 100 selected women entrepreneurs, enhancing their export readiness and enabling smoother access to international supply chains.
  • (ii) Selected entrepreneurs will gain a platform to display their products at Bharat Mart in Dubai, located within the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), giving them direct access to international buyers and trade linkages under WEP’s ATR initiative launched in 2023.
