The 2025 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Weightlifting Championships took place in Førde, Norway, from October 2–11, 2025, organised by the IWF with support from the Norwegian Weightlifting Federation (NWF) and local authorities.   • - In the Men’s 79 kg category, Rizki Juniansyah of Indonesia lifted 157 kg in the Snatch and 204 kg in the Clean & Jerk, achieving a total of 361 kg. His 204 kg Clean & Jerk set a new world record (WR).
