In October 2025, Gurugram introduced India’s first QR code-based kiosk for paying traffic fines, launched at Ambience Mall, Haryana. The initiative aims to simplify the payment process, reduce courthouse visits, and promote road safety through behavioral change campaigns.

  • - The kiosk was jointly developed by the Gurugram Police (GP) and the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
