BHEL Signs LAToT with DMRL Hyderabad to Manufacture Fused Silica Radar Domes.

On August 30, 2025, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) signed a License Agreement for Transfer of Technology (LAToT) with Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad, under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). This agreement empowers BHEL to manufacture fused silica radar domes for missile systems, strengthening India’s indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities.
