India and EU Conduct First-Ever Counter-Drone Training at NSG Campus.

In October 2025, India and the European Union (EU) conducted a first-of-its-kind counterterrorism training focused on drone threats at the National Security Guard (NSG) campus in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana. The three-day exercise strengthened capabilities to defend critical infrastructure and soft targets against emerging unmanned aerial system (UAS) threats.

  • - The recently conducted three-day EU-India exercise, held from October 13–15, 2025, aimed to enhance protection of critical infrastructure and soft targets against drone threats through tactical, technological, and joint simulation-based training.
  • - The training involved India’s NSG and the EU’s High Risk Security Network (HRSN), representing 28 units from 21 EU member states, who conducted joint urban counter-drone and tactical operations.
