GalaxEye Space announced the launch of “Mission Drishti”, the world’s first multi-sensor Earth Observation (EO) satellite. Scheduled for Q1 2026, it will provide high-resolution, real-time data to support agriculture, urban planning, environmental monitoring, disaster management, and scientific research.

  • - Mission Drishti is a 160-kg satellite equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and optical sensors, expected to be launched aboard ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) or a SpaceX rocket, with an operational life of 5 years.
  • - It integrates SAR, optical, and infrared sensors, allowing 1.5-metre resolution imaging under all conditions, including night and adverse weather.
