In September 2025, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Ministry of Education (MoE), recently launched the 'Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025', a nationwide innovation movement designed to engage students across schools in India. During the event, he also unveiled the official jingle and logo of the initiative.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • - Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 is India’s largest school hackathon, promoting grassroots innovation and expanding upon the School Innovation Marathon 2024.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) The programme is organised by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), MoE, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
  • (ii) Students are encouraged to develop products and solutions around four key themes: Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, and Samriddhi, fostering creativity aligned with national priorities.
  • (iii) The Buildathon runs from 23 September to 31 October 2025, with expert evaluation from 1 November to 31 December 2025, and results along with felicitation of over 1,000 winners scheduled for January 2026.
