  • - PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Interim Terminal Building at the New Civil Enclave of Purnea Airport and flagged off the first commercial flight from the city, integrating the Seemanchal region into India’s aviation map.
  • - The Prime Minister inaugurated the Araria-Galgalia (Thakurganj) Rail Line valued at ₹4,140 crore, which enhances connectivity between north Bihar and North Bengal, ensuring improved passenger and freight movement.
