  • (i) On 1st January 2025, TGB was restructured by merging the original TGB with the Telangana operations of APGVB, forming a unified Regional Rural Bank (RRB).
  • (ii) With this merger, Telangana became the first state in India to implement the ‘One State One RRB’ framework under the sponsorship of SBI.
