In May 2025, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), based in New Delhi, along with the Indian Navy (IN), successfully conducted the combat firing of the indigenously developed Multi-Influence Ground Mine (MIGM) with a reduced explosive payload.

  • (ii) The production of MIGM involves Visakhapatnam-based Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Hyderabad-based Apollo Microsystems Limited (AML) as the key partners.
