Government Extends Robert Jerard Ravi's Tenure as CMD of BSNL & MTNL.

In January 2025, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the Ministry of Communications (MoC) extended the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) to Robert Jerard Ravi. The extension is for three months, effective from January 15, 2025, until April 14, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, subject to approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
