In January 2025, Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (previously known as Titagarh Wagons Limited) took a major step forward in India's urban transportation by delivering the country’s first driverless, Made-in-India trainset to Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
