  • - This pilot project, introduced by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister (CM) Vishnu Deo Sai, trains women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to take on meter reading responsibilities in areas that are hard for the department to access.
  • - Under the scheme, 21 women were selected, trained, and appointed as 'Bijli Sakhis'. Each woman earns Rs 4,000-6,000 per month for their work.
