SWITCH Mobility Ltd, a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland and part of the Hinduja Group, launched two new low-floor electric city buses, the EiV12 for India and the E1 for Europe, on December 11, 2024. The EiV12 boasts a scalable battery capacity exceeding 400 kWh and is designed for urban commutes, while the E1 is tailored for the European market2. Both models share common design philosophies and architecture, aiming to redefine urban mobility and promote sustainable transportation.
